Excursions and Social Programs

We offer extensive excursions and social programs which aim at introducing students to the ethnic, historical and cultural diversity of Daugavpils and Latvia in the context of their historical and contemporary relations with Russia. These can include short trips during working days as well as full-day trips on weekends.

Different excursion destinations may be considered, if requested by the students, e.g. full-day trips to Riga, Rundale Palace, Vilnius (the capital of neighboring Lithuania), or Estonia. Project groups may also consider multiple-day study trips to Belarus, Russia, and Poland.
